Well, hello, FINALLY!!!

Sorry, not much publishing here recently.  Been a little busy, but...here goes.

Guess the first end of July event was the Horsemanship Camp.  Just as we need to keep ourselves healthy (some people neglect this!!), we need to keep our horses healthy too.

Some topics included in this three-day Camp were:  bandaging legs, deworming protocols, equine dentistry (thanks to Dr. Julie Bullock for her excellent presentation--see pictures included in this blog), vaccination schedules, recognizing colic and emergency first response, vital signs and practice taking vital signs, etc.

I enjoyed teaching the class, and I think the attendees learned a lot about horse health.
